Guilherme Silva

Guilherme Henrique Valente Rodigues da Silva was born on July 16th, 1943. He currently practices as a lawyer.

Political Career[edit]

Besides being a member of the Regional Political Commission of the PSD – Madeira, Guilherme Silva is also a cabinet member for the Study of Social Democratic Foundation of Madeira and a consultant to the Regional Government of Madeira. He is currently working on his sixth mandate as a deputy at the National Parliament for the PSD political force, since he started his activity in the 6th legislature (1991-11-04). He takes part in two parliamentary committees (Constitutional Affairs, Rights, Freedoms and Guarantees; Eventual Constitutional Review).

Guilherme Silva holds a Bachelors degree in Law and a Postgraduate degree in European Law and Integration Economy.

Guilherme Silva is the author of several works, essentially related to the European Union and to the Portuguese Constitution issues.
