== Professional Career ==

Gigi Tevzadze is a Professor who is the chair of the Sociology Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences at the University Ilia Chavchavadze in Tbilisi, Georgia. The university was established in 2006 and is composed of six different educational and research institutions as a result of a merger. He has written books and articles, including: "Books Building Democracy in Georgia;” "Developing a Democratic Community in Georgia;” "The Birth of the Georgian Nation;” "Identity and Ideology. Political and Societal Identities. Nationality and Religiosity;” and "Secularization and the Birth of a Nation.”
