Günter Baumann
Günter Baumann ( born August 1, 1947) is a german politician and a member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU).
Political Career
Baumann has been a Member of the CDU since 1972 and is a member of the Edrzgebirgskreis district. He has been a member of the Bundestag since 1998. He was the Mayor of Jöhstadt between 1990-1998. He has been the Chairman of the Working Group petitions of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group and a member of the Committee on Petitions and the Committee on Internal Affairs since 2005.
Education
Baumann undertook vocational training at secondary school. He studied at the Technical University of Dresden and obtained a diploma as an Engineer of Textile Technology.
