After her mandate as minister, Fonck returned to the federal parliament. Between 2010 and 2014 she was fraction leader. Since July 22, 2014 Catherine Fonck is Secretary of State for Environment, Energy, Mobility and State Reform in the current federal government.

Catherine Fonck is a Belgian politician and minister for CdH. She was born in Ciney (Belgium) on September 22nd, 1968.

Political Career

Fonck was elected in 2003 as Member of Parliament for the CdH in Hainault. Between 2004 and 2009, she was Minister for Children, Youth Welfare and Health in the French government community. After her mandate as minister, Fonck returned to the federal parliament. Between 2010 and 2014 she was Fraction leader. Since July 22nd, 2014 Catherine Fonck is Secretary of State for Environment, Energy, Mobility and State Reform in the current federal government.

Education

Catherine Fonck has a doctorate in medicine (UCL, 1993).
