Filipe Neto Brandão

Carlos Filipe de Andrade Neto Brandão was born on September 9th, 1968. He currently practices as a jurist.

Political Career[edit]

Besides being a member of the Board of the Monitoring of the Peace, Filipe Neto Brandão is also a member of the Commission for the Supervision of the State Secret. Filipe Neto Brandão is currently working on his second mandate as a deputy at the National Parliament for the Socialist Party, since he started his activity in the 11th legislature (2009-10-15). He takes part in several parliamentary committees (Constitutional Affairs, Rights, Freedoms and Guarantees; Healthcare; Ethics, Citizenship and Communication; Inquiry to the Military Equipment Acquisition Program; Constitutional Review; Inquiry to the Banco Espírito Santo and to the Grupo Espírito Santo management).

Education[edit]

Filipe Neto Brandão holds a Bachelors degree in Law and a Postgraduate degree in Communication Law.
