Dirk Becker is a member of the SPD and was born on May 4th, 1966 in Bielefeld-Gadderbaum, Germany. He is a public administration specialist.

Political Career

Since 1983, Becker has been an administrative officer for the city of Bielefeld, and most recently also a managing director of the Community College of the City of Bielefeld.

Since 1988, Becker has been a member of the SPD and was between 1990 and 2005 a Member of the Oerlinghausen City Council and deputy mayor. He has been a Member of Parliament since 2005.

Education

Becker obtained a Management Diploma from the College of Public Administration in Bielefeld.

Notable Work

He is an inter alia member in the workers' welfare, a member of Lippi's Heritage Association, NABU, Foundation "For lip" energy pulse OWL, Friends of "Eben Ezer" (Lemgo), TSV Oerlinghausen, "Get to work" eV, and of the Oerlinghausen gun club.
