Diether Dehm is an author, CEO and member of the German Left Party.
Political Career[edit]
Dehm became a member of the SPD in 1966 and withdrew from the SPD in 1998. He was the Deputy National Chairman of the Party of Democratic Socialism (PDS) between 1999-2003. Dehm has been the state chairman of the Left Party since 2003. He also was the chairman of the National Association Neidersachsen for the Left Party from 2007-2010. He is the treasurer of the Party of the European Left. He has been a member of the German Bundestag in 1994 and again since 2005.

He has a Diploma in special education teacher and has a Doctorate of philosophy.
