Deirdre Clune was born on the 1st of June, 1959 in Cork, Ireland.
Political Career[edit]
Clune used to be Senator and Seanad Spokesperson on Enterprise, Jobs & Innovation. Additionally, she was elected to the European Parliament on May, 2014. She is a full member of the Transport & Tourism, substitute on Employment & Social Affairs committee. She was elected to the Dáil in 1997 at her first attempt. Clune was the Fine Gael Spokesperson on Environmental Information and Protection, and Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands.
