Political career
Dagmar Belakowitsch-Jenewein joined the Freedom Party in Vienna in 1994 and became a member of the district leadership of Vienna. She was elected district councillor in 1996. In 2002, she became a member of the provincial party leadership of the FPÖ Vienna and in 2004 she moved into the district headquarters of the Vienna Ottakring.
