Cultural Democracy[edit]

A populist bottom-up approach to providing society with access to culture. Cultural Democracy can be defined as a philosophy of practice that recognizes and respects the existence of diverse cultural paradigms and is a more radical framework of cultural development. Democratization of culture is considered a more inclusive and broader conception of culture, in which all sectors of society are able to participate and exhibit their ethnic and cultural differences. The private commercial sector also plays a significant role alongside the government.
