Correia de Jesus is the president of the General Assembly of Madeira’s House in Lisbon, the president of the Parliamentary Group for Friendship Portugal-Venezuela, the vice-president of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship Portugal-Brazil and a member of the Parliamentary Group for Friendship Portugal-Germany. He is currently in his seventh mandate at the National Parliament for the PSD political force, since starting his activity in the 6th legislature (1991-11-04).
