Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)[edit]

A form of corporate self-regulation aimed at managing the impact that business activities have on different stakeholders, in order to produce an overall positive impact on society. CSR strategies can be distinguished from mere profit-driven strategies, and are usually focused on the environment, the welfare of consumers, employees, and communities.
