Political Career
Maria Marques Mendes is a Member of the Municipal Assembly of Fafe. This is her first mandate as a deputy at the National Parliament for the PSD political force, since she started her activity on the 12th legislature (2011-06-20). She takes actually part of several parliamentary committees (Social Security and Labour; Ethics, Citizenship and Communication; Monitoring of the Financial Assistance Program to Portugal; Inquiry to Camarate’s Tragedy).
