"Film as a Cultural Diplomacy Tool" A Lecture by Bridget Callow-Wright, Australian Film Producer (Berlin, February 13th, 2014)

Bridget Callow-Wright is an independent film and television producer who has been working in Melbourne, Australia since 2008. She also she lectures at the SAE Institute in Melbourne.

Biography

Her career started from production coordination for independent and feature films. Afterwards she moved to a position of producer at Casp Production. She also worked as a curriculum developer for the post graduate courses in Screen Business at the Center for Screen Business from 2008-2009.

During her work at Casp production Bridget Callow-Wright produced an independent feature film “Bitter&Twisted”. For this film she is awarded with two AFI (Australian Film Institute) Nominations and a holder of (Best Actress) Film Critics Circle Awards. “Bitter&Twisted” received 14 award nominations from 19 international film festival screenings including Tribeca (New York) (World Premiere), Sajavo (Bosnia), Montreal (Canada), Torino (Italy) and Goteburg (Switzerland).

Education

She graduated from The New Zealand Broadcasting School with an Undergraduate Diploma in Radio and Television Broadcasting Technology.
