Bojan Kekec (born May 4, 1965) is a member of the National Council of the Republic of Slovenia and the Vice-President of the Commission for International Relations and European Affairs within the Council.

Political Career

In the parliamentary elections of 2011 Kekec ran as a candidate on the list of SDS (Slovenian Democratic Party). He is a National Councilor for the second term and Municipal Councilor in the Municipality of Novo mesto. He is also a member of the Executive Board of the SDS at the state level.

Professional Career

He led the entire technical department at Komunala Novo mesto (public utilities). In 2003, the Municipality of Novo mesto gave him a municipal award for research and innovation for achievements in the field of automation of plumbing system

Education

Kekec has BA in Electronics and MA in Energetics.
