Daldrup has been a member of the Social Democratic Party since 1975. He was a member of the Sendenhorst City Council from 1979-2004. Since 1992 Daldrup has been a Member of the Bezirks Planungsrat of Münster, which is now known as the Regional Council. In addition this, he has been a member of the state executive of the SPD in North-Rhine-Westphalia.  In 2001, he became the chairman of SPD’s sub-district Warendorf and also the SPD’s Münsterland Committee.

Bernhard Daldrup is a member of the Bundestag and a member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD).

Political Career

Daldrup has been a member of the Social Democratic Party since 1975. He was a member of the Sendenhorst City Council from 1979-2004. Since 1992 Daldrup has been a Member of the Bezirks Planungsrat of Münster, which is now known as the Regional Council. In addition this, he has been a member of the state executive of the SPD in North-Rhine-Westphalia. In 2001, he became the chairman of SPD’s sub-district Warendorf and also the SPD’s Münsterland Committee.

Education

Bernhard Daldrup attended school between 1963-1976. He completed his Abitur at the Wolbeck Gymnasium. Between 1977-1978 he attended the University Hospital of Münster for his Civilian Service. From 1976-1983, Daldrup studied Political Science, Philosophy and German Philology at the Westfälische Wilhelms-University of Münster; in 1980 and 1982 he was studying in Budapest. In 1983 he acquired a distinction in his Master’s degree.
