Political career
Kitzmüller has been a FPÖ councillor in Kirchschlag since 1991. In 1994, she was elected as the county party chair and deputy-member of the provincial party leadership. In 1995, she became the local party chairwoman, and in 1996, the Group Coordinator and Assessor at the Provincial School Board Upper Austria.
