Anita Tack, born April 4, 1951 in Dresden, is a German politician (The Left). She is the current Minister for the Environment, Health and Consumer Protection of the Federal State of Brandenburg.

Political Career

1969-1990 Member of the SED; since 1990 member of the PDS and later the Left; since 1994 member of the Landtag Brandenburg; from 2008 Member of the City Council Potsdam; since 2009 Minister for the Environment, Health and Consumer Protection of the Federal State of Brandenburg.

Education

She studied urbanism and territorial planning at the College of Architecture and Civil Engineering in Weimar. She graduated in 1973. Subsequently, she worked until 1987 in the Office of Territorial Planning of the district of Potsdam.
