Andreas Ottenschläger, born on May 7, 1975 in Vienna, is an Austrian politician and Member of Parliament for the ÖVP (Österreichische Volkspartei, Austrian People's Party). Andreas is also an entrepreneur.

Political Career[edit]

Andreas Ottenschläger was a member of the District Council of Josefstadt from 1996 until 2013. In addition, he was an organizational consultant and member of the National Party Presidium of the ÖVP in Vienna and District Party Chairman of the ÖVP in Josefstadt since 2004. Ottenschläger has been the transport spokesman for the ÖVP since 2013. He also has been the Club Chairman of the ÖVP parliamentary group in the district council of Josefstadt from 2005 to 2013.

Education[edit]

After a career in the army, Ottenschläger studied business administration, but did not complete his studies. He then attended numerous training seminars, focused mostly on real estate business. He attended 2 semesters at the Academy of the ÖVI (Österreichischer Verband der Immobilienwirtschaft, the Austrian Association of Real Estate Management). Afterwards, he took a preparation course for the Real Estate Trustee Examination. In 2013 he completed the qualification examination and became a real estate trustee.
