Introduction

Andrea Manciulli was born on the 27th November 1969 in Piombino (Livorno), Italy; he has a degree in History and works as a party director. He is a member of the Democratic Party, which he joined in March 2013, and was elected Deputy for the Tuscany region.

Political career

He is Vice President of the Third Commission for Foreign and Communitarian Affairs, specifically within the Permanent Committee on Foreign Policy and External Relations of the European Union. In July 2013 he joined the Parliamentary Delegation at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, he became President in May 2014. Lastly, Andrea Manciulli was a member of the Fourth Commission for Defense from March to June 2014, replacing Minister without Portfolio for Parliament Relations and Coordination of Governmental Activities Dario Franceschini; from October 2013 to February 2014 he replaced President Enrico Letta.
