Alojz Kovšca

Alojz Kovšca (born September 23, 1965) is a member of the National Council of the Republic of Slovenia and the Vice-President of the Commission for Economic Affairs, Trade, Tourism and Finance within the Council.

Political Career

He was elected to the National Council in 2007.

Professional Career

Kovšca is an active member of the Regional Chamber Ljubljana-Bezigrad is active for a long time. He was a member of the Assembly, of the Management Bard and he is currently the President of OOZ Bezigrad. He is also a representative at the Committee of Watchmakers in the Section of Watchmakers and Jewelers OZS.

Education

Kovšca attended the Military Academy in Belgrade and Banja Luka. In 1996, he completed his study at the Faculty of Social Sciences - majoring in political science and defense - at the University of Ljubljana and received the Prešeren Award for his thesis. He is also professional watchmaker and jeweler.

Further Information

In 1991, he actively participated as a volunteer in the Slovenian Independance War and was awarded the Silver Medal of General Maister.
