From 1996 a member of the Parliament, he served in theNational Security (later - the National Security and Defense)as a Vice-Chairman of the Committee. Worked in Drug Prevention and Regional Development Commission. Until now belongs to the Lithuanian Riflemen Union. Political Career

Participate in the political activities since 1988. Was one of the founders of the Movement of Varėnos also initiated the restoration of Lithuanian Riflemen's Union.
