Alfred Sant has had an extensive career in politics and business, for example he has worked as the first and second secretary at the Maltese Mission to Brussels where he specialised in European Affairs and Bilateral Relations with Western European countries from 1970 and 1975. Sant was also Executive Deputy Chairan of the Malta Development Corporation (MDC).
