He holds the Telefonica-UC3M Chair in Telecommunications Economics, and is the director of the Master's degree in Industrial Economics at the UC3M since 1995. Since 2007, he has also been the Vice Chancellor of International Relations and Cooperation. He is an Associate Editor of Studies in Nonlinear Dynamics and Econometrics, Macroeconomic Dynamics and Cuadernos Económicos de ICE. He is also the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, as Adjoint Vice-Chancellor of Computers and Libraries.
