Stojan Binder

Stojan Binder (born February 29, 1956) is the Vice President of the National Council of the Republic of Slovenia.

Political career

Binder has held the position of National Councilor since 2002, when he also became a member of the Economic and Social Council of the Republic of Slovenia.

Professional Career

He started his professional career at Steklarna Hrastnik which he took over in 1992. Since 2008, he has occupied the position of a manager at SINET.

He is also the president of the Regional Chamber of Commerce Zasavje and a member of its Management Board. In the previous term, Binder was the president of the Association of Employers of Slovenia.

Education

Binder graduated in electric power engineering at the University of Ljubljana and completed his masters in finances at the Faculty of Economics in Maribor.
