Born on Valladolid, the 12th December of 1963, Miriam Guadalupe Blanco Soto is a spanish deputy on the current parliamentary term and a former sportswoman.

Political Career

Afther abandon her athletic career, Miriam Guadalupe Blanco Soto was a sports commentator on the public spanish TV (TVE) during the Olimpic Games of Sidney (2000). She started her political career with the People's Party being elected as a senator for the constituency of Alicante in the elections of 2000, 2004, 2008. She has been spokeswoman of the Women Comission of the Spanish Olimpic Comitte and President of the special comitte for the sportsmen situation.

Education

Miriam Guadalupe Blanco Soto has a MA in sports.
