The Hon. Miyir Ali Suleiman serves as the Ombudsman of the Republic of Djibouti.

Biography[edit]

Miyir Ali Suleiman began his professional career when he was elected to the National Assembly in 1997. He was re-elected in 2003 and became the twelfth candidate of the Union for Presidential Majority (UMP) in Djibouti. In 2004 he was appointed to the Pan-African Parliament and later he served as President for the Legislation and General Administration Commission. He was re-elected to the National Assembly in 2008 and was once again the twelfth candidate on the UMP’s candidate list for the Djibouti Region.
