José Luis Rivera Mallo, born in Vilagarcía de Arousa (Pontevedra), is a Spanish senator elected for the constituency of Pontevedra (Galicia) for the 10th term. He is a member of the People’s Party (PP).

Political Career

José Luis Rivera Mallo was elected as senator for the first time in the 8th term and re-elected on in the 9th and the current term. During the current term, he is acting as spokesman for the Mixed Commission for the Drug’s Problems Study and a member of other commissions such as the Local Entities Commission or the Commission for the International Cooperation for Development. Before becoming a senator, José Luis Rivera Mallo had also been a councillor and mayor of the municipality of Vilagarcía de Arousa in 8 different terms.
