María Rieradevall Tarrés, born in Vidreres (Girona) on the 4th April 1973, is a Spanish senator elected to the constituency Girona in the 10th term. She is a member of Convergència i Uniò (a coalition of two nationalist Parties of Catalonia).

Political Career

María Rieradevall Tarrés was elected as senator for the first time in the current term. During this term, she is acting as spokesperson of the Justice Commission, where she has been a reporter of different law projects. Before becoming a senator, María Rieradevall had also been a deputy on the Board of the Gerona’s Bar Association. Inside the Party, she is also member of the Federal Executive Board of Convergència Democratica since 2004.

Education

María Rieradevall Tarrés holds a degree in Law and has been working as an attorney.
