José Muñoz Martín, born in Salamanca (Castilla y León) on the 10th December 1939, is a Spanish senator for the constituency of Salamanca (Castilla y León) for the 10th term. He is a member of the People’s Party (PP).

Political Career

José Muñoz Martín was elected as senator for the first time in the 8th term and then re-elected in the 9th. During the current term, he is acting as Deputy member of the Permanent Deputation, President of the Industry, Energy and Tourism Commission and spokesman of the Economy Commission and the joint commission of internal affairs, education and sport and industry, energy and commerce. Before becoming senator José Muñoz Martín was a councillor of Salamanca and vice-president and president of the Provincial Council of Salamanca.

Education

José Muñoz Martín has a degree in Law and a Diploma in Social Work.
