Diarmuid Wilson

Diarmuid Wilson was born on the 20th November 1965. He is an Irish Fianna Fáil politician and member of Seanad Éireann, elected by the Administrative Panel since September 2002.

Political Career

Diarmuid Wilson was elected in 1999 in the Cavan County Council. He was first elected to the Seanad in 2002 and won a second term in 2007 and a third one in 2011. Currently he is the Fianna Fáil whip in the Seanad and spokesperson for Labour Affairs, Trade and Commerce.

Education

Diarmuid Wilson was educated at Cavan Vocational School, St. Patrick's College Maynooth and Brunel University, London.
