Mona Keijzer

Mona Keijzer (born on October 9th, 1968 in Edam) is a member of the Dutch House of Representatives for the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA).

Political Career

Keijzer started her political career as a member of the municipal council of Waterland from 1996 until 2002 and was also the alderman of this municipality from 1998 until 2006. Subsequently she worked as a lawyer and mediator in 2005 and 2006. Afterwards she was an alderman of the Purmerend municipality from 2007 until to 2012. Currently she is a member of the Dutch House of Representatives for the CDA.

Education

Mona Keijzer studied legal public administration and Dutch law (specializing in physical planning law, environmental law, environmental policy) at the University of Amsterdam.
