Baroness Irene Fritchie (born 29 April 1942) is a Crossbench member of the House of Lords.

Political Career

Baroness Fritchie was created a Lord on the 31st May 2005. She has been a member of a number of com-mittees including the Delegated Powers and Regulatory Reform Committee between 2006 and 2009 and the Refreshment Committee between 2008 and 2012.

Education

Baroness Fritchie was educated at Ribston Hall Grammar School for Girls in Gloucester, she has had a long career specialising in training and development.

Notable Work

She has held a number of roles throughout her career. She is a Chair for the Independent Appointments Board for the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, 2gether NHS Mental Health Foundation Trust, 2gether Council of Governors and a Chair on the board of Nominet UK. She is also a member of Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the Chancellor of the University of Gloucestershire.
