Ján Senko was born on 11th of July 1958. He is currently a member of the Slovak National Council as a member of Smer-SD. He is also the vice-chairman of the Committee for Culture and Media.

Ján Senko started his political career in 2006 when he was elected to the Slovak National Council (for Smer-SD). He became a member of the Committee for Incompatibility of Functions and of Committee for Culture and Media.
