Trevín Lombán has been a MP for the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE), from Avilés, Asturias, for one term, since 2011. He was Provincial Director of Education from 1986 until 1987. Moreover, he was major of Llanes, Asturias (1987-1993 and 1999-2004). In 1991 he became President of Asturias, where he was also parliamentary from 1991 until 1999. He was Government Delegate in Asturias from 2004 until 2011, when he became MP. Trevín Lombán was coordinator of the Commission for Education, as well as member of other Commissions linked to Education. He was awarded with the Medalla Alfonso X el Sabio.

Antonio Ramón María Trevín Lombán (born 27 February, 1956) is a Spanish Politician.

Political Career

Trevín Lombán has been an MP for the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE), from Avilés, Asturias, for one term, since 2011. He was Provincial Director of Education from 1986 until 1987. Moreover, he was major of Llanes, Asturias (1987-1993 and 1999-2004). In 1991 he became President of Asturias, where he was also parliamentary from 1991 until 1999. He was Government Delegate in Asturias from 2004 until 2011, when he became MP.
