Antonio Gentile (born in Cosenza on April 8th 1950) is an Italian politician. He is a member of the New Centre-Right political party.

Political Career[edit]

He was appointed as a senator four times (in 2001, 2006, 2008 and 2013). From May 2011 until November 2001, he was State Under-secretary of the Ministry for Economics and Finance. He has been Secretary to the Presidency of Senate since March 2013. As a Senator, he is currently a member of the 6th Permanent Commission on Finance and Treasury and a member of the Parliamentary Commission on Childhood.

Education[edit]

He holds a degree in Geology.
