Janusz Andrzej Dzięcioł was born on 11th December 1953. He is a Polish politician, known as the Big Brother Winner. Since 2007 he has been a member of the Polish Parliament from Toruń constituency. Between 2002 and 2007, he was a Grudziądz City Councillor.

Janusz Dzięcioł joined the Grudziądz City Council IV term representing the 5th district in 2002. He polled 389 votes and was second on the Electorate committee 'Movement for Grudziądz' list. On 25 September 2005 he was the Senate of Poland VI term from the 5th constituency (Toruń-Włocławek) as the Electorate' committee 'Civic Agreement'. He polled 28,549 votes (10.05%) and was 12th of 18 candidates. On the 12th of November 2006 he was re-elected to the Grudziądz City Council. He got 1,028 votes in the 4th district, as a candidate from Civic Platform list. In 2007, when he was elected to the Sejm, his seat on the City Council was replaced by Wiesław Bernard Poliński, who was next on the party list. On 7th September 2007 he joined the Sejm of Poland VI term representing the 5th constituency (Toruń-Włocławek). He polled 19,807 votes and was third on the Civic Platform  list. He was also re-elected to the Polish Parliament in 2011.
