In the period 2008-2010 he was elected Vice Mayor for Administration, Social Policy, Finance, Municipal Police and Citizens Serving Centers of the Municipality of Larissa. For the period 2011-2012 he was elected Chairman of the Primary School Committee and member of the Finance Committee of the Municipality of Larissa.
