Apostolos Alexopoulos [Greek: Απόστολος Αλεξόπουλος, born on 23rd April 1952 in Tropaia, Arcadia] is a Greek politician, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Geology and Geoenvironment of the University of Athens and Head of the Laboratory of Tectonics and Geological Mapping at the same Faculty.

He has been active, alongside Manolis Glezos, within the movement of ‘Active Citizens’, one of SYRIZA's components. Apostolos Alexopoulos was elected as a member of the Hellenic Parliament with the SYRIZA Party, representing the second Electorate Prefecture of Athens. He currently serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Cultural and Educational Affairs and the Standing Committee on Production and Trade.

He received his Bachelor's Degree in Geology at the University of Athens in 1976 and after completing his military service (1978) he worked in the Public Power Corporation S.A. (PPC) in the study and construction of hydroelectric dams (December 1978 – January 1980); he then worked for the Ministry of Agriculture on hydro-geological studies, slope stability management, and hydro-geological projects (December 1980 – March 1982).
