An innovative academic and applied approach to the analysis of practices of Cultural Diplomacy. This vision implies broader participation by different agents through a larger variety of vehicles than the “classic” approach which prominently sees governments as the key proponents of Cultural Diplomacy. The New School of Cultural Diplomacy promotes the exchange of ideas, values and cultural aspects as a two-way stream and sees the participation of not just governmental institutions but of the private sector and civil society as vital.
