Kenneth John Cameron
Kenneth John Cameron, Baron Cameron of Lochbroom FRSE, (born 11 June 1931) is a retired Scottish judge.
Political Career[edit]
Lord Cameron of Lochbroom was appointed a Life Peer on the 8th June 1984. As a Lord he focuses on Crime, Civil Law, Justice and Rights and Culture, Media and Sports. His regions of focus are East Lothian and the Highlands.
Education[edit]
Born in Edinburgh, he was educated at Edinburgh Academy, at Corpus Christi, Oxford and at the University of Edinburgh.
Notable Work[edit]
Lord Cameron of Lochbroom worked as a Judge. He became a QC in 1972. He was appointed President of the Pensions Appeal Tribunal for Scotland in 1976, and Chairman of the Committee of Investigation under the Agricultural Marketing Act 1958 in 1980. He was an Advocate Depute from 1981 and was appointed Lord Advocate in 1984, holding office until 1989 when he was appointed a Senator of the College of Justice.
