Karolien Grosemans

Karolien Grosemans, born in Herk-de-Stad (Belgium) on March 9, 1970, is a Belgian Flemish-nationalist politician from the province of Limburg. She is affiliated to the N-VA (New Flemish Alliance).

Political Career[edit]

Since 2010, Grosemans is a representative in the Chamber of the New Flemish Alliance (N-VA). She was CPAS Councilor in her local community Herk-de-Stad from 2007 to 2009 and local Counciller since 2009. Grosemans is Member of Parliament since 2010 and Vice-President of the Provincial Council of her party, the N-VA since 2008. She is Vice Chairwoman of the Committee on National Defence, since 2011, and CPAS President in Herk-de-Stad Since 2013.

Education[edit]

Karolien Grosemans graduated in 1992 from the Catholic University of Leuven in Germanic Philology. She gave up teaching Dutch and English to the third grade of St. Martin Schools, campus Amandina in 2010.
