José Ignacio Llorens Torres
José Ignacio Llorens Torres was born in Lleida on 1943. He is currently a member of the Spanish Congress of Deputies within the People’s Party of Spain (PP).
Political Career
Torres was vice president of the People's Alliance in Lleida and then the President of the People’s Party of Lleida. He has been an MP for the party in the province of Lleida since the Spanish general elections of 1982, 1986, 1993, 1996, 2000 (in which he was Chairman of the Environment Committee), and 2008. Torres was also a deputy in the parliament of Catalonia from 2001 -2003.
Education
Torres has a Degree in Agricultural Engineering.
