James Wharton (Conservative) Member of UK Parliament

James Wharton was born on 16 February 1984. He is a British Conservative Party politician.

Political career[edit]

Between autumn 2002 and early 2007 James was Chairman of the Stockton Conservative Party. James has campaigned and worked throughout Stockton South, from fighting for a new school in Ingleby Barwick, to playing a part in the campaign to save Parkview care home in Thornaby and to prevent the relocation of Ian Ramsey School in Stockton itself. In the 2005 local elections James stood as the Conservative Candidate in Bishopsgarth and Elm Tree Ward in Stockton, as well as working to support Conservative Candidates across the Borough and playing a key role in the Campaign Team of James Gaddas, the 2005 Conservative Parliamentary Candidate. James was elected on 6th May 2010 and now works full time representing residents across Stockton South.

Education[edit]

James studied Law at Durham University and then completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York.
