Alain Leboeuf

Alain Leboeuf (born February 2, 1964) is a member of the National Assembly of France for the first district of Vendée, on the west coast of France.

Political Career[edit]

After being director of Saint-Sauveur Rocheservière College since 1996, Alain Leboeuf was elected Mayor of Rocheserviére in 2001. Beginning in 2011, he also chaired the Municipal Council Committee on Digital Economy, Transport and Networks.

In 2007, Leboeuf ran for the National Assembly in the first district of Vendée but lost to the incumbent, Jean-Luc Préel.

Leboeuf however, would not give up. In 2012, he ran for the same seat again, this time with the support of the UMP, and won. Leboeuf currently serves as a member of the Committee on Sustainable Development and Spatial Planning of the French National Assembly.

Education[edit]

Leboeuf became a Professor of Life Sciences, Earth, and Informatics at Lycée á Montaigu in 1987. In 1996, he became the Direction of Saint-Sauveur Rocheservière College.
