Achmet Chatzi Osman

Achmet Chatzi Osman was born in Komotini in 1958. He is a Greek politician and farmer.

Political Career[edit]

He was elected Member of Parliament in the elections of 2007, 2009 and 2012.

Education Career[edit]

He studied Theology at the Marmara University (Turkey).

Notable Work[edit]

From 1985 until 1990 he was editor of the periodical Hakka Davet, published in Komotini. In 1986 he was elected Municipal Councillor at the Komotini Municipal Council. From 1991 until 2001 he was elected President of the School Board of the Mastanli Minority Primary School in Komotini. In 1999 he was elected General Secretary of the Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association. During the Municipal and Prefectural elections of 2002 and 2006 he was elected Prefectural Councilor of the Rodopi Prefectural Council.
