Veerle Heeren is a Belgian (Flemish) politician and member of the CD&V.
Political career[edit]
Since 2012 Heeren has been the Mayor of Sint-Truiden. In May 2014 she was elected as a member of the Belgian Parliament.
Education[edit]
In 1989 Heeren graduated in Law from the University of Brussels (VUB). One year later she received a Master's degree in International and Comparative Law.
