Standard Chartered is a multinational banking and financial services group based in London, that operates in more than 70 countries, with a network of more than 1.7000 branches and with around 87.000 employees. The company carries out operations in consumer, corporate and institutional banking, as well as treasury services.

The group has a rich art collection -paintings and photographs-. At the same time, it sponsors one of Hong Kong’s biggest art events, named “Arts in the Park”, where young artists work together to create original performances under a same theme.

Supporting Sports[edit]

Standard Chartered is strongly committed to supporting sports. In these lines, the company is one of the biggest sponsors of the Liverpool Football Team, it sponsors 13 races in some of the countries where the group operates, as well as young rugby and football teams from Singapore, Hong Kong and Korea.
