Philippe Pivin

Philippe Pivin was born on August 4th 1954 in Sint-Agatha-berchem (Belgium). He is a member of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives for the Brussels party branch of the French-speaking Liberal Party (MR) and he is mayor of Koekelberg.

Political Career[edit]

Philippe Pivin became politically active in 1994 when he was elected local president of the PRL (predecessor of MR) in Koekelberg. After the local elections in 2000, he became mayor of Koekelberg, a mandate he still holds today. He is also a former member of the Parliament of the Brussels-Capital Region from 2004 to 2014. Since 25 May 2014, he has held a seat in the Belgian Chamber of Representatives for the Brussels Liberal Party branch (MR).

Education[edit]

He graduated in law and criminology from the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
