Pedro Alves
Pedro Filipe dos Santos Alves was born on December 30th, 1972. He is a secondary school professor and currently serves as a deputy at the Portuguese National Assembly.
Political Career[edit]
He was elected by the electoral circle of Viseu through the Social Democratic Party to serve as a deputy on the XII Legislature (2011-2015). He was also deputy on the VIII and IX Legislatures. Presently, he takes part in various Parliamentary Commissions including the Commission for Agriculture and Sea and an alternate in the Commission for Education, Science and Culture. Additionally he is National Adviser for the Social Democratic Party and President of the Political Commission of the Social Democratic Youth for the district of Viseu.
